CLUB TRAVEL POLICY
- Avondale United - Policy for subsidizing teams travelling outside of Cork (competitive fixtures only)
- The Club will cover 50% of the first Bus Hire cost. The players need to contribute the balance and are expected to pay for any food. There is just one exception to this. All expenses (bus hire and reasonable food costs) will be covered for teams travelling away to play a Cup Final.
- The Club will subsidise 25% of all subsequent bus hire costs with the players paying for the balance. Therefore, the players are required to pay for 75% of the bus hire cost when the bus is being hired for a second or subsequent away trip.
Entertaining Visiting Teams
- An allowance of €300 will be provided by the Club to pay for all visiting Youth and Adult teams. For any spend greater than €300, the home team players will be required to fund the deficit.
- The parents of all U16 squad players and younger should be asked to provide sandwiches and cakes etc to provide for visiting underage teams. Until such time as the dressing rooms are completed in Beaumont, every attempt will be made to fix these games in Avondale Park.
