NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) 2024
The Committee of Avondale United FC wishes to invite our members to the Clubs AGM to be held on Wednesday 10th April, at the Scala Retreat and Conference Center Castle Road, Blackrock. T12YV52 ( across from Blackrock Castle).

Please note: The start time is expected to be approximately 8:15 p.m after a short break once the club EGM has ended, which will start at 7:00 pm and will be held in advance of the AGM.

Proposed Agenda for the meeting is as follows:

● Brief Reports & the years highlights from Schoolboy's, Schoolgirl's  & Adult Sections.

● Treasurer'sReport.
● Future plans overview and new developments.

We look forward to seeing you there and invite members to get involved in anyway possible with the Clubs activities or in Committee roles.

As the club is a volunteer Organization we are only as strong as the Volunteers involved.

Avondale United's AGM 2023

We are delighted to announce Avondale United's  2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM).

It is taking place Tuesday 21 February in Cork Con Rugby Club @ 7.30 PM and we hope you can join us.

Our Club AGM is the most important off the field event in our season. All Committee roles will be coming up for election at our AGM. 

Avonadle United is appealing to our footballing family to please consider a role on the committee?

We need some fresh faces and the input of new people to breathe new life into our progressive club.
 

We need better facilities which include more pitches. The acquisition/construction of an all-weather pitch must be the medium-term goal.

Our facilities need to reflect the needs of our growing Schoolgirl membership and the pending development of Ladies’ football.

The wider involvement of parents is encouraged and welcomed. We cannot thrive as a club without your vital input.
We need more volunteers who are prepared to take on tasks both on and off the field.
We are always looking for more coaches, especially in the Schoolgirls section.
(The Women's World Cup coming up this summer is likely to result in a surge in Schoolgirl playing numbers. This is already an area of our club which is experiencing near exponential growth) 

More subcommittees are required to alleviate the workload of those serving on our main Committee.
The subcommittees which need to be populated or formed include:

Fundraising
Facilities
Coaching and Player Development

Football skills are not required; just a real passion to make Avondale United an even better club.
