The Dale Weekly Round Up

Another busy weekend our Senior team winning 2-1 on Saturday in the Munster Senior Cup with a 2-1 win over Macroom Matthew Mckevitt and Darragh O'Brien with the goals our Junior A team producing a great performance in a 6-1 win over Corinthians and our Junior Premier team coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 and to go on and win 5-4 in a penalty shootout in the FAI Junior Cup  our 19s went down 4-1away to Fermoy and our 17s lost 5-2 to Ringmahon . 


 In the Schoolboy section wins for our 13sA team and also our Under 15s.  Our Under 12s Premier team went down 5-1 to Mallow and our 13s Premier team game was off. 


In our  Schoolgirls section wins for our 15s who won their opening league game 6-0 while our 13 B team drew 0-0 with Douglas Hall while our 19s ladies  came from 2-0 down to gain a 2-2 draw with Hannah Cronin and Debbie McCarthy scoring and another fine performance by Lucy O'Sullivan in goal. 


The final podcast is our Avondale United 50th Anniversary series will be aired on Monday night and it features Ken Bruton.


Finally we are just under 2 weeks away from our 50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner on the 8th October a great night of events are planned. Its a night to celebrate the past and look to the future.
