A busy weekend with mixed results for our teams with both our Senior and Junior Premier teams going down to Midleton teams . Our 17s Premier team drew 0-0 with Douglas Hall while our 19s went down 2-0 away to St John's Bosco . Our Junior A team won their opening league game on Thursday evening beating Kilreen 2-0

In our Schoolboy section there were terrific wins for both our 12s and 13s Premier teams with the 12s winning 2-0 away to Lakewood and the 13s winning 5-1 against Douglas Hall. Our 15s A team also had a 2-0 win over Ballincollig... Our 12s and 14s A teams got off to winning starts in the league but there was a 2-1 defeat for our 16s away to Carrigtwohill despite playing well.

Our Girls Under 12s had a good win over Midleton and our 14s girls defeated Carrigtwohill but there was defeat for our 17s by Springfield Rams ...

Our Friday academy returned in Ashton and Ursulines and great to see so many new players both boys and girls enjoying themselves. See our poster for times, age groups and venues.

Many people have played their part in the Avondale United history through the highs and lows and on Saturday 8th October we celebrate our 50th Celebration Anniversary Dinner in Rochestown Park Hotel. Have you got your ticket yet.? . .
