The Dale Weekly Round Up

 Saturday saw our Senior team share the spoils with UCC in 1-1 draw Eoin O'Donovan our scorer.   Our Junior Premier team went down 3-2 away to College Corinthians. Top performance on Saturday was from our 19s who ended Rockmounts unbeaten run winning 3-2 goals from Morgan Cáin, Eoin Dé Búrca, Stephen Ahern and a good goal keeping performance by Michael O'Neill.   Our 17s went down 3-1 away to Leeside Liam Fitzgerald our scorer.  On Sunday our Junior A team went down 1-0 to Coll Cors Athletic and our 18s drew 1-1 with Wilton.. Some Schoolboy results our 14s drawing 1-1 with Coll Cors Marcus Cahill on target and our 15s getting a terrific last minute goal from a free kick from Ethan Bruton to give them a 2-1 win over Macroom.  Our 12s Premier team drew 1-1 with Corinthians.   Well done to Avondales Holly O'Hagan in Cork's Under 13s 3-1 Inter league win over South Tipp today .  Last Sunday was a great day for former Ringmahon  schoolboy Caoimhín Kelleher when winning the Carabao Cup final with Liverpool but something our new and younger coaches may not know is that Caoimhins older brother Fiacre played with Avondale schoolboys  before joining Glascow Celtic and he now plays for Bradford City.
