The Dale's gained a valuable 3 points in this MSL Premier Division game at Moneygourney today . The Hall started the better playing with a gusting wind and Avondale keeper Billy McCarthy produced good saves from Keane and Holland early on . The Hall were probing but Avondale defence were holding firm. The wind eased in the second half and Avondale enjoyed more possession and on 74 mins Eoin O'Donovan was played in on goal and just as he was about to shoot a timely challenge denied him the chance. The deadlock was broken on 78 mins when Eoghan Lougheed wide on the left saw his inch perfect cross from his right foot find Simon Falvey although being challenged his glancing header went in off the inside of the post. The Halls task was made harder when they were reduced to 10 players on 85 mins and Avondale saw the game out.
