An Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of Members of Avondale United FC was held Wednesday 10th at 7pm.

The purpose of this EGM was to Propose a motion to seek the approval of our Members to formally engage Estate Agents to enter into a process and to sell the Lands at Avondale Park.

A good attendance was achieved and we are delighted to confirm that the motion was passed and ratified unanimously by the member attendees at the EGM. A yes Vote.

The solutions and opportunities were discussed including the Straight Road Site Development and some more Local Development opportunities that are in discussion.

Many thanks to all who have worked on this to date, presented and spoke last night, those who attended and the many who sought Information on the proposals before the EGM. Special thanks to Steve Fox for all his support.

Particular Mention to all founding members and players who had the foresight to acquire Avondale park and make it such a successful venture and Paddy and those in particular who are still maintaining Avondale Park today.

This is just a step on the journey, much done, more to do but an exciting next chapter for the Club.
